Viewing Data in iTracer

Using the iTracer View Window

Data associated with commercial card transactions can be vast and varied. Because of this and the limitations of displaying data on your monitor, iTracer segments logical groupings of data within each function. These groupings of data are called Views.

To select a particular view, click the View drop down box arrow. Then, click the view you want in the drop down box window. The iTracer online Help has a description of the data contained in each view.

Sorting the Data in Your Views

Once you've selected your view, you can choose to sort the data in the view by key data fields. Each view has unique sort criteria.
Filter Transactions by Posting Date

Because your database can contain transactions for up to a year or more, iTracer lets you view transactions for a specific posting date range. This is called filtering your transactions. Both Transaction and Analysis have the functionality of filtering transactions by posting date.

Using your mouse, point to the View, Sort by, or Filter by Posting Date drop down box for an example of its functionality.

This is an example of the Transaction All view, sorted by Merchant.
