How to Set a User's Profile

The Profile Function is where you, the user, sets your default settings in iTracer. The default settings include:

iTracer has three Profile Views that control the default settings. They are:

Setting Your General Preference

The General Preference is where you set your data preference, the default date range of your data when you access iTracer, and your screen display settings. Do not confuse this with your Report preference. The General Preference applies to all functions except Reports.

Setting Your Function Preference

The Function Preference is where you customize each function to display and sort data to best suits your needs. This determines the default view and data sort when you first access a function.

Setting Your Report Preference

The Report Preference is where you set your default data, date range, merchant preference when you generate reports, and whether to restrict the report by product class. Do not confuse your report preferences with your general preferences, which affect your overall data views in iTracer. Report preferences only affect the data in your reports.

You can override these settings in the Report Function in order to generate custom reports, but you cannot save those profile settings.
