The Merchant function displays merchant information with which cardholders have transacted, based on information submitted by VISA or MasterCard. You use the Merchant views to search for merchant information. You can also manually mark a merchant as a preferred provider
The Merchant function offers views of merchant types, which includes the incorporation status and whether the merchant is female or minority owned. It also includes views of merchants by state, MCC, and merchant class.
Merchant Detail Information
The Merchant Detail screen consists of the corresponding MCC code and description, the incorporation status, the merchant type, and whether the merchant is a preferred provider. You also mark a merchant as a preferred provider on the Merchant Detail screen. The top left portion of the Merchant Detail screen contains the merchant name and address.
You access the Merchant Detail screen by clicking the merchant name in either the Merchant or Transaction functions.
